N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department would like to warn Jamestown residents about a convicted sex offender who has changed addresses and is now residing at 219 7th AVE NE #2.

Jayme Joseph Rowley has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee from the Office of the Attorney General.

Mr. Rowley was convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition when he forced his way into an adult females home and forced the victim on the floor and tore off her shirt and bra. He bit the victims breast and then gave up and ran. He was convicted October 11th, 2006.

Mr. Rowley was also convicted of surreptitious intrusion when he broke into an apartment and stole female underwear. He was convicted December 14th, 2004.

Mr. Rowley is not wanted at this time and is currently serving his sentence imposed by the court. This notice is meant for public safety and should not increase fear in the community, nor should this be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender. Attempts to do so will result in prosecution.
