(NewsDakota.com) The Cardinals swept Midkota last night in High School volleyball, 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-15). Carrington improves to 15-4 overall and 3-0 in District 7, Midkota drops to 6-10 and 1-3 in District 7. The game was originally scheduled to be played in Glenfield but was moved to Kensal, as Midkota/Kensal formed a new coop this year.
Carrington had 40 kills as a team, Madison Wendel had a match high 12, followed by Page Anderson with 11 and Kayla Hochhalter with 10. The Cards served 89% with 12 aces, Hochhalter had four. Brooke Rosenau had 30 assists.
