(U of Jamestown)- The University of Jamestown Jimmie men’s and women’s basketball teams will host a Midnight Madness event at 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Hansen Center. The event is free and open to the public.

“We invite everyone to come and enjoy a fun night of activities as we introduce this year’s teams,” says head women’s coach Greg Ulland. “We are excited for the upcoming season and want to start it out with a blast.”

Activities include team introductions, a three-point shootout, dunk contest, team scrimmages, and three-on-three games with students and coaches. Attendees will have the chance to win Jimmie gear.

“We’re excited to put on this event for our players, students and the community,” says head men’s coach Justin Wieck. “Midnight Madness events have taken off across the country, and we’re thrilled to be brining it here to the Jamestown campus where fans can stay up late and enjoy the beginning of a great year.”
