CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Barnes County Deputies defeated the Valley City State University football team to help raise money for a fundraiser on September, 26 at Lokken Stadium in Valley City.

The Barnes County deputies won the game for the second year in a row beating the VCSU freshmen squad 63 to 53.

Ingstad Family Media Valley City manager Tim Ost coached the VCSU freshmen and Valley City Times Record publisher Reed Anderson coached the deputies to a victory on September 26.

The second annual fundraising event helps support programs for the Barnes County Sheriff’s Department.
