(NewsDakota.com) For the second time in as many weeks, the Bryce Meehl to Ethan Zetocha connection paid off big for the Oakes High School football team.
Meehl connected with Zetocha four times for scores, including on the opening offensive play for 70 yards as the Tornadoes defeated the Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros 35-14 on Friday night.
Zetocha also caught touchdowns for 55, 33 and two yards in the victory for Oakes (4-1 3-1 Class A Region I), while Meehl ran in for a two yard touchdown.
HVC (2-3 1-3 Region I) scored twice in the contest with with a nine yard touchdown throw to Jace Stallman from Jake Preston, and a one yard run by Preston.
