N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Roughrider Rodeo Association of North Dakota is preparing for the final contests of the year.
“It’s the last big rodeo event of the year before we have to break out the snowshoes.” said Greg Carlson, a member of the Roughrider Association. Being a rider himself, Greg says the event to watch out for this year is the Calf Roping.
“I, myself am qualified in the calf roping, so of course that’s the one to watch for” Greg said jokingly.
“Stock is being provided by multiple contractors throughout the state, so you can also expect to see the best stock out there as well.”
Tickets are available for the Roughrider Rodeo Association’s finals from the Jamestown Civic Center. The event is scheduled for September 27th through the 29th.
