(NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals were in action last night against District 7 opponent Harvey/Wells-County, The Cards swept the Hornets 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-8).  Carrington improves to 14-4 overall, 2-0 in District 7 and the Hornets drop to 9-3 overall, 2-2 in District 7.

The Cards served 92%, with 16 service aces, nine of them were in the third set.  Savanna Buskness led the way with four.  Madison Wendel had eight of the nine stuff blocks for Carrington, she also had 11 kills.  Kayla Hochhalter had a match high 13 kills.  Harvey/Wells-County did not have a service ace.

Next up for Carrington will be next Tuesday, October 1st against Midkota.  This match was originally scheduled to be in Glenfield, but has been moved to Kensal.  Pregame will be heard about 6pm, first serve about 6:15pm on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com.
