Meanwhile, KLJ project manager Chad Petersen says construction on the Shared Use Path along 9th street northeast will start next year.

Shared Use Paths were a major topic of discussion during Mark Fenton’s visit to Valley City two weeks ago during the state Park & Recreation conference.

Valley City commissioner Mary Lee Nielson proposed having meetings with Valley City parents to discuss further ideas on future walking and biking paths in the community.
