Charles Sinclair, 81, of Jamestown, ND, formerly of Cleveland, ND, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Ave Marie Village, Jamestown.
Charles Robert Sinclair was born on February 19, 1932, the son of David and Vivian (Cotton) Sinclair. He attended school in Cleveland and married Dorothy Joyce Ronngren on November 11, 1955. Charlie worked construction for two years on the Garrison Dam and seven years for Lindberg Builders, Jamestown. He later worked 25 years for the Stutsman County Road Dept. Charlie served 28 years on the Cleveland City Council and was a member of the Eagles for 20 years. He liked hunting, fishing, playing cards, and watching TV.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Dorothy Joyce Sinclair, Jamestown; one daughter, Kathryn; two sons, John and David; eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and two brothers.
Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 30, 2013 at Ave Maria Village Chapel with Deacon Tom Geffre officiating.
Visitation: None scheduled.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
