N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown will be receiving a new motel. And with a new business, new jobs will be available.
The Jamestown Developmental Corporation Executive Board has approved to build a new motel in the I-94 Business Park. John Shaw with the Shaw Development Group based out of Middleton, Wisconsin, was approved for the lot space to build a Microtel Inn. Microtel Inn is part of the Wyndham Hotel Group.
“He came to the board for approval. The motel will be located in the I-94 Business Park next to Buffalo City Diesel and Ag Country. It’ll cost roughly $5.9 million to build and create 15 full time jobs. The motel will also have about 83 rooms.” said Holly Miller with the JSDC.
Although it’s been approved by the JSDC, the project needs full approval by the Stutsman County Commission and the Jamestown City Council.
