N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota Department of Transportation would like to alert North Dakota residents about a website that is misrepresenting fees pertaining to a Driver’s License guide book.

A privately owned driver’s license website is charging a processing fee and stating that this fee will go towards the purchase of a Drivers License Guide. This information is misleading because the NDDOT does NOT charge fees for the North Dakota Rules of the Road Guide for Driver’s License information.

The NDDOT guide is free and can be picked up at any North Dakota Drivers License office or it can be downloaded from the NDDOT website at http://www.dot.nd.gov/divisions/driverslicense/docs/rulesroad.pdf
