(NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals had almost 500 yards in total offense last Friday night as they beat Kidder County 36-12 in Class 1A.  Carrington improves to 3-0, Kidder County drops to 0-3.

Junior running-back Seth Abaurrea rushed for 123 yards on 20 carries and one touchdown.  Sophomore running-back Cole Ferguson rushed 7 times for 110 yards and one 77-yard touchdown run.  Walker Carr had one touchdown and rushed 82 yards on 14 carries.  Junior QB Brady Smith was 6 of 7 passing for 96 yards, no touchdowns, no interceptions.  Carrington had 23 first downs and eight penalties.
