N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Dry conditions have reached the D-2 stage on the drought monitor in 98% of Stutsman County, prompting the emergency haying of CRP land for a 2-week period ending September 24th.

CRP participants that are wanting to hay or lease CRP for emergency haying must contact the Stutsman County Farm Service Office (FSA) at 701-252-1920 extension 2.

Requests must be approved before haying begins.
