(NewsDakota.com)- The first North Dakota Class AAA & AA football polls of the new season were released Tuesday night. No surprise, Bismarck High sits atop the AAA poll. After Shanley’s opening weekend lost the relinquished the their top spot as the defending Class AA champions to Minot Bishop Ryan and St. Mary’s who tied for the top spot.
Four of the five teams in the Class AAA poll are West Region teams with Fargo South as the only team from the east. Jamestown received votes in the Top-5 after their 46-12 thrashing of Central on Friday night.
The Jays coming off a 2-7 season where their only wins came against Williston and Mandan and that of course was after a 0-9 season in 2011
