N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An issue with IP connections between Barnes, Stutsman and Richland Counties have prevented connectivity of the 9-1-1 system.

Emergency Manager/9-1-1 Coordinator for Stutsman County Jerry Bergquist reported that, due to technical problems with the IP connections between the counties, we are temporarily disconnected with Barnes County.

Barnes County Emergency Manager/9-1-1 Coordinator Kim Franklin says a few routers need to be installed in Stutsman and Richland Counties and then they’ll test the lines again. She says hopefully the connectivity will be completed by next week.

The deadline to reach connection between the three counties was August 14th. No new deadline has been set.
