(NewsDakota.com)- The collegiate volleyball season is in full swing and the Jimmies went south to Orange City, IA to play in the Red Raider Classic at Northwestern College. 

The University of Jamestown took both of their matches Friday night with a straight set win over Doane (25-19, 26-24, 25-17) and a 3-1 victory over Morningside (25-19, 25-20, 23-25, 25-22).

On Saturday, the tables turned on the Jimmies with Jamestown just picking up one set out of six. They were swept by Hastings (22-25, 20-25, 11-25) and took just one set from Dordt College (19-25, 23-25, 25-20, 13-25).

This weekend Jamestown will head to Bellevue which is located in Omaha, Nebraska for a quartet of games. The Jimmies are currently 3-3.
