CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 64-year-old Carl Bjugstad of Sheldon, ND has been identified as the second victim of the fiery semi fatal crash that happened 20 miles South of Valley City at the intersection of Highway 1 and 46 on Wednesday morning.

Highway Patrol Sgt. Tom Herzig says an eastbound semi missed a stop sign and struck a northbound semi around 9 o’clock on August 14. The other man identified in the crash was 46-year-old Allen Tofsrud of Leeds, North Dakota.

Carl Bjugstad was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
