CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) With transportation and waste disposal costs on the rise, commercial garbage rates will increase for businesses in Valley City.

That’s Valley City Administrator David Schelkoph. He gave this example of the increased cost to the city.

Valley City commissioners will vote up or down on a resolution to approve new “commercial” city garbage rates during their regular meeting today at 5pm.

Residential garbage rates in Valley City will remain unchanged for now according to Schelkoph.
