Carol was born August 6, 1937, to parents Roy and Clara Richardson, in Hannaford, N.D. She attended school in Hannaford and graduated in 1955. She worked various jobs throughout her life, with the Hilltop Café being the most memorable for not only her, but also for her customers. Marvin and Carol spent many days on the road in their RV traveling the country in their retirement years, but always called Valley City their home. Carol loved and cherished time with friends and family. Those moments meant everything to her. She would welcome anyone into her home for a cup of coffee and a game of Skip-Bo. She loved her Saturday nights at the clubhouse playing pinochle with the guys. She loved family times at the lake. She loved watching her grandchildren’s sporting and musical events.
