N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Otter Tail Power Company customers will continue to pay for costs associated with the cancelled Big Stone Two power plant projects for another eight months.

It isn’t much, less than one cent per kilowatt hour. The Public Service Commission approved the extension of the rider, because Otter Tail is trying to recover costs for a transmission line built for the Big Stone Two project.

An average Otter Tail customer pays about 60 cents a month for those costs.
