CITY, N.D (NewsDakota.com) Cathy Hanek was announced as the new women’s head basketball coach of Valley City State University on Friday, July 26^th.  She will officially step into the position on August 19^th, but we had the chance to catch up with her this week and talk a little about her career, and what she is looking forward to in the upcoming season.  Below is the interview conducted with Coach Hanek on Tuesday, July 30^th.
