OHIO (NewsDakota.com) Valley City’s Annie Hart took 3rd place in the International Soap Box Derby competition in Akron, Ohio Saturday in the Super stock division.

It’s the first time anyone in the region has placed that high in the International competition with participates from Japan, New Zealand, Canada and the U-S.

Jaustin Opatz of Valley City took first place in the opening round of the Stock division but lost in the second round on Saturday. Congratulations to Annie Hart and Jaustin Opatz.
