N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their call logs for the week of July 19th through the 25th. According to Fire Chief Jim Ruether, there have been 254 total calls as of 2012.

Below is a list of all reported fire calls for this week.

Call No. 149- July 21st, 8:24AM, fire department responded to 210 Business Loop West, Salvation Army Thrift Store, to a report of smoke. Firefighters checked the area and know fire was found. No firefighter injuries. Time out 25 minutes.

Call No. 150- July 22nd, 4:38AM, ready squad responded to 715 3rd Ave SE, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-systems malfunction. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 151- July 22nd, 3:28PM, fire department responded to 904 13th St NE, Multi Family Dwelling, to a report of a fire. Fire was out upon arrival of fire units. Firefighters extracted smoke from the building and investigated. Cause-lint ignited during plumbing work. No firefighter injuries. Time out 35 minutes.

Call No. 152- July 23rd, 4:04PM, fire department responded to 506 14th St NE, Open Yard, to a report of a natural gas line that was hit. Firefighters stood by until MDU was able to stop the leak. Cause-digging post holes. No firefighter injuries. Time out 35 minutes.

Call No.153- July 25th, 2:19AM, fire department responded to 312 1St Ave N, Century Link Building, to a report of smoke. Firefighters checked the building, no fire. Cause-electrical malfunction with a probable fan. No firefighter injuries. Fire alarm weas reset. Time out 50 minutes.

Call No. 154- July 25th, 12:34PM, ready squad responded to 421 18th St NE, Heritage Center, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-dust from construction work. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.
