CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Sanford Clinic and Mercy Hospital in Valley City reached an agreement last week concerning the clinic physician’s hospital privileges.

Mercy Hospital CEO Keith Heuser talked about the misunderstanding and stressed that at no time did Mercy Hospital try to push the doctors out.

Sanford Clinic Director of Operations Linda Lane said it nice to have an agreement in place.

Lane said the rumor about doctors leaving Sanford Clinic was never true.

Lane & Heuser said patients should not notice any changes in the healthcare they receive.

In early July, four Sanford Clinic physicians were going to resign their hospital privileges but that was avoided after an agreement was reached on July 18.
