Jean Quick, age 64, of Rogers, ND, died Tuesday, July 23 at Sanford Health, in Fargo, ND surrounded by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 27th at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Dazey, ND. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church. Inurnment will be in the Dazey Cemetery, Dazey, ND.

     Jeanne was born to DuWayne “Digger” Hare and LuElla Hare, October 25, 1948 in Cooperstown, ND.  Jean graduated from North Central of Barnes in 1966.  She married Alan Quick on September 25, 1967 in St. Anthony, Idaho.  They lived in Dazey, ND before moving to the farm outside Leal, ND, which they called home. Jeanne was a cook at North Central of Barnes and Maryvale.  She was currently working as an administrative assistant for James Lochow, CPA.  Jeanne was very passionate about spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, sewing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

     Jean is survived by 2 children, Darek (Crystal) Quick of Maryland; Kelsey (Ebs) Janse van Rensburg of Dazey, and 4 grandchildren; Devin and Travis Quick, Jake and Spencer Piatz.  She is also survived by 1 sister, Jackie (Gary) Schuler, 3 brothers, Jim (Colleen) Hare, Jon (Sandy) Hare, and Gary (Darlene) Hare.
