N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown woman is accused of stealing from Walmart in Jamestown and using her children to sell the stolen property.

40-year -old Tara Bauer is charged with 3 felonies including child abuse. Police say Bauer shoplifted $5,200 worth of items and then forced her children to return the items for cash, or pawn them.

A television, an air conditioner, household appliances and swimming pools are some of the items sold at rummage sales or on social media websites.
