N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Construction has been happening on the brand new Hampton Hotel in Jamestown and it is almost done.

Carla Edinger, manager for the Hampton in Jamestown, said they are open and taking “just a few rooms to try and get into the groove of things.”

The hotel was pre-opened on Friday and they are working with Hilton Hotels & Resorts on setting up a ground opening plan.

“The first floor is still under construction, but we have 80 of the 90 guests room available right now.

When asked when the grand opening will be, Carla said, “We are hoping by the end of the week. Fingers crossed!”

Carla Edinger was a previous employee of North Dakota Farmers Union in Jamestown.
