N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The first ever Zombie Crawl is coming to Jamestown this summer.

Creators Johnny Jerome and Joel Grant decided to create the event for people that enjoy outside activities, shaping the crawl after a similar one in Fargo.

“We thought if there were profits to be made, where could we put them and we decided that the James River Humane Society stood out the most.”

The Zombie Crawl will be similar to The Running of the Green, a local pub crawl, but with a twist.

“Everyone dresses up like zombies and runs around to the local pubs.”

Johnny said, “There are over $1,500 in prizes for the crawl. We have Minnesota Twins Tickets, Mall of America Passes. We will also have a DLP TV $2 dollar raffle and that money will go to the Humane Society as well.”

The Event is scheduled to start at the KC Hall in Jamestown July 27th at 8 P.M. T-shirts are available and cost $15. Registration costs $10 and all proceeds raised will go towards the James River Humane Society and Prairie Paws. Pre-Registration will be July 22nd.
