N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – At the July 15th Jamestown Public Schools Board Meeting, Roger Haut was voted in to the President position on the Board. He will succeed previous president Roy Musland.

Diane Hanson was voted in as Vice President following that.

The nominations occurred after discussion on whether or not to have rotating presidency, which was ultimately dismissed. New Superintendent Robert Lech said he didn’t “Know of any other school system in North Dakota or the country that had a system like that.”

Roger Haut assumed Presidential duties immediately.
