Eugenia “Jean” Harr, 87, of Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown.

     Eugenia “Jean” Harr (Soulis) was born to John M. Sr. and Alice V. (Kimberly) Soulis, at home in Jamestown, ND on June 17, 1926. She was baptized at St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church in Minneapolis on April 24, 1927. Jean was named and sponsored by Peter and Marjorie Zappas and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND by Rev. Joseph J. Johnson, in June of 1940. She grew up and received her education at Washington Elementary School, Jamestown Junior High and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1944. She also attended St. John’s Music, Marion Fried Dance and Jamestown College. Jean married Norman E. Harr in June of 1946. She worked at the Palace Cafe, King’s Studio, Nashold Co., Jamestown City Hall, OPA, Livestock Sales, Veterinary Clinic and the SSA.

     Jean is survived by her two brothers, Michael J. Soulis and Nick J. Soulis from Jamestown, ND; granddaughters, Kary Jean (Robert A) Sinkule, Nicole A. Friel, and grandson Daniel M Friel; and great granddaughter, Alexandra Jean Crandall who all reside in Arizona. Jean is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

     Jean was preceded in death by her parents (John M and Alice V Soulis), husband (Norman Harr), son (Charles N Harr), daughter (Paula J. Barrows), her Godfather (Peter Zappas), stepmother (Evelyn L. Stuart Soulis), and two brothers (John M. Jr. and Chris J. Soulis).

     Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m, Friday, September 6, 2013 at Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
