N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota State FFA saw many young people showing their stuff this year.
Out of all of them, two brothers shined.
Donovan and Verlin Zacharias of Enderlin, North Dakota won awards for stellar work in North Dakota’s FFA organization
Donovan Zacharias won the Star in Agricultural Placement. The award goes to those in “Future Vision Partnership.” Donovan is a current partner near Kathryn, North Dakota. Donovan gives his time and talents in his school and community and was truly deserving of the award. He plans on attending North Dakota State College of Science’s Diesel Technology program and upon graduation, he will return to Future Vision as a mechanic in the partnership.
Verlin Zacharias won the Star Farmer award. Robert Moller, FFA advisor, stated “Verlin’s friendliness and willingness to help and learn has made it enjoyable to have him as one of my students.” Verlin plans to attend North Dakota State University and major in Agricultural Economics. When he graduates, he will return to Future Vision where he will farm in partnership with his brothers.
Donovan and Verlin are both the sons of Vaughn and Dorinda Zacharias of Enderlin, North Dakota.
