N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A traveling exhibit that honors North Dakotans killed in the Global War on Terror is on display at the Bismarck Scheels store.

The display was prepared by the American Legion.

North Dakota National Guard Adjutant General David Sprynczynatyk says the traveling exhibit is a fitting remembrance for the 21 North Dakotans who have died on active duty since 9-11.

US Senator Heidi Heitkamp also spoke at the opening of the exhibit.

The exhibit will be on display for the next two weeks.
