CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Barnes County Relay for Life will have a new look in downtown Valley City while keeping the traditional ceremonies associated with the popular American Cancer Society event.

Co-event coordinator Lisa McCulloch said volunteers will be needed to help place Luminaria bags on the sidewalk path for the event in downtown Valley City beginning today at 3:30pm.

Everyone is encouraged to attend the 14th annual Barnes County Relay for Life event along Central Avenue in downtown Valley City today from 6pm to Midnight. Bring a lawn chair to enjoy the event.
