ND – Construction on Jamestown’s sanitary sewer system is scheduled to begin in early July.

The Jamestown sanitary sewer project includes improvements to the sanitary sewer and work on three lift stations. Work on the project is expected to take place starting July 8 in the area of 5th St and 3rd Ave NW in Jamestown. Motorists are asked to slow down in construction areas, use caution and watch for workers and equipment.

An open house will be held for the Jamestown sanitary sewer project from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, at Jamestown City Hall, 102 3rd Ave SE, in the downstairs meeting room. The public will have the opportunity to learn more about the project and the work that will be involved. City officials and Interstate Engineering staff will be on hand to answer questions.

Throughout the course of the project, updates will be posted online at jamestownsewerproject.com. The website will also include a map of construction areas and road closures. Project updates will also be posted on Twitter @jamestownsewer.
