CITY, N.D. (VCSU) The Valley City State University men’s basketball team bolstered its 2013 recruiting class with the addition of an NCAA Division II transfer this week. Head coach Jeff Kaminsky announces that Jeremy Ware, a 6-foot-2 guard, has signed a letter of intent to join VCSU basketball in the fall of 2013.
Ware will transfer in from Colorado Christian University and has two years of eligibility remaining. Ware is a native of Cheyenne, Wyo., and played his high school basketball at East High School where he was a two-year starter and a Distinguished Athletic Award winner. Ware plans to study accounting at Valley City State University.
“Having Jeremy join Viking Basketball will be great for our program,” Kaminsky said. “Jeremy is a quality individual who will make our team better in many ways. He is a versatile and athletic perimeter player who can help us on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. He has outstanding character and has already proven to be a successful student and athlete at the college level.”
