(NewsDakota.com)  Around 5:45pm yesterday evening, the Carrington Fire Department responded to a report of a fire near Barlow.  A hay bale was on fire that endangered a house, no reports of damage to the house.  The bale was in between the house and some propane tanks.  The cause of the fire in unknown right now.  Two trucks and nine men responded.

10 minutes after returning to the Fire Hall, the second call was a single vehicle accident (motorcycle vs. deer) east of Carrington.  The accident happened two miles south of Highway 200 on the Bordulac Road.  The motorcyclist tried to avoid the deer, two injuries were reported, extent of the injuries unknown at this time.  Two trucks and nine men responded.
