CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Four golfers from the Valley City State University men’s team competed as individuals in the KX-4 Bank of the West golf tournament Father’s Day weekend at the Moorhead Country Club.

Sean Krall, Shane Ost and Travis Ingstad all qualified for the championship flight, while Blair Gilberts competed in the consolation flight.

Krall led the VCSU golfers with a two-day total of 149, which was good for 19th place overall, and was 12 shots off the winning score of 137.

Ost posted a 152 and tied for 22nd, while Ingstad had a two-day total of 159 and tied for 28th in the championship flight.

Gilberts carded a 161 over the two days, and tied for 15th in the top consolation flight.

VCSU golf will resume competition as a team this fall.
