Delores H. Bahr was born on April 17, 1929 to Grover and Mathilda (Thiel) Bahr. She grew up in Grafton, ND. As a young woman, she lived in Fargo and Jamestown, ND.

     While living in Jamestown, she married Clarence Fossen. They made their home on a farm near there. After Clarence died, she moved to Valley City, ND where she did housekeeping and also worked in a bakery and at the Times-Record. In March of 2004, she moved into the Sheyenne Care Center.

     Delores Fossen, 84, Valley City, ND, died at the Sheyenne Care Center on June 12, 2013, while under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. She is survived by her brother, Royal Bahr of Fayetteville, NC.

     The funeral service for Delores will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Sheyenne Care Center Chapel. Burial will be in High Prairie Cemetery, rural LaMoure, ND.

     Visitation will be the hour prior to the service on Monday.
