Ronald Ross, 71, of Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 peacefully at his home.
Ronald V. Ross was born September 14, 1941, in Jamestown, the son of Verlon D. and Pearl D. (Christensen) Ross. He grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1959. Ronald worked in the plywood mills on the coast for five years, and then for Northern Pacific Railroad for a few years. Ronald married Ruth D. Miller on December 4, 1965 in Aberdeen, SD. He began his career with Northwestern Bell in 1967 and retired after 35 years of service.
Ronald enjoyed the outdoors by fishing and camping, and he especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Ruth Ross, Jamestown; son, Jeffrey Ross, Lake Williams, ND; daughter, Cherie Ross, Carrington, ND; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; aunts and uncles.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND, with Chaplain David Fisher officiating.
