N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It was a very busy week for The Jamestown Fire Department this past week.

With over 10 runs this past week, they have reached 120 calls total for 2013. Below is the entire run report from the Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther:

June 6th, 9:08AM, ready squad responded to 419 5th St NE, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unknown. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 15 minutes.

June 7th, 8:50AM, ready squad responded to 1705 Elmwood Drive SE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate smoke scare. Firefighters detected smoke but no fire and exhausted smoke. Cause-unattended cooking. Time out 45 minutes.

June 7th, 10:15AM, ready squad responded to 1705 Elmwood Drive SE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate smoke scare. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-recheck. Time out 30 minutes.

June 7th, 5:40PM, fire department responded to 205 6th St SE, Law Enforcement Center, to report of a smoke scare. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-air intake may have brought in outside smoke smell. Time out 35 minutes.

June 10th, 8:33AM, ready squad responded to 1300 2nd Place NE, Hi Acres/Eventide, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-accidental alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 15 minutes.

June 10th, 6:00AM, Stutsman County ROV Team responded at the request of the Burleigh Sheriff’s Dive Team and Bismarck Rural Fire Department to assist in locating a drowning victim on the Missouri River south of Bismarck, ND. Time out 10 hours.

June 11th, 6:25PM, fire department responded to 520 13th Ave SE, Single Family Dwelling, to a report of smoke coming from a dryer vent. Fire was out on arrival of fire units. Cause-plug dryer vent. No firefighter injuries. Time out 35 minutes.

June 11th, 9:59PM, ready squad responded to 1615 2nd Place NE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate if carbon monoxide is present. Firefighters checked for carbon monoxide and 65 PPM was detected. Occupant was advised to air out the home. Cause-unknown. Time out 20 minutes.

June 11th, 10:42PM, ready squad responded to 1312 6th Ave NE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate if carbon monoxide is present. Firefighters checked for carbon monoxide and 210 PPM was detected. Occupant was advised to air out the home. Cause-propane lift running in the garage. Time out 30 minutes.

June 12th, 10:12AM, ready squad responded to 1312 6th Ave NE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate if carbon monoxide is present. Firefighters checked for carbon monoxide and 4-5 PPM was detected. Occupant was advised to air out the home. Cause-recheck from an earlier call. Time out 25 minutes.

June 12th, 10:25AM, Stutsman County ROV Team responded to the request of Stutsman County Sheriff’s Department to assist in an investigation on the James River. Time out 2 hours 20 minutes.

June 13th, 2:48AM, ready squad responded to 1300 2nd Place NE, Hi Acres/Eventide, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-accidental alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.
