(NewsDakota.com)  Carrington Post 25 was in action last night against Oakes 36 at Carrington City Park.  Carrington swept the double header, 4-3 in the first game and 7-3 in the second game.  Carrington improves to 3-1 overall, Oakes drops to 0-2 in Section 2.

Peter Henson hit his first home run of the year and had two RBI as Post 25 scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and beat Post 36 7-3.  Logan Clifton gets his second victory of the year, going the distance for Carrington and striking out eight.  Taylor Skytland was 3-for-4 at the plate with a stolen base.  Brady Smith was 2-for-4 with two RBI.  

Kaleb Sell went 1-for-4 for Oakes Post 36 and John Tyre was 2-for-3.  Bryce Meehl was the losing pitcher for Post 36, Meehl was 1-for-3 with an RBI at the plate. 

Next up for Carrington will be today at 5:30p at Washburn, pregame at 5:15pm on newsdakota.com and KDAK 1600 AM.  Next up for Oakes will be this Saturday in Ellendale for the Ellendale Tourney.
