CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City Fire Chief Gary Retterath wants to let the public know that the city will be testing weather sirens on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 9 am each month from now through September. The test takes less than one minute.

Retterath said the weather patterns are erratic and we need to know the
6 weather sirens in the city will work when needed. The next test will be Tuesday, June 11th.

The Valley City board of commissioners approved of Retterath’s idea during the June 3 meeting.
