CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City High School students Beth Berntson and Tia Wagar are busy raising money for a trip to Birmingham, Alabama to compete in the national speech contest.
The two are selling Schwan’s food products in the Valley City area for their trip to Alabama. The National Speech competition is set for June 17-21 in Birmingham and the community wishes both of them all the best. Coach and supervisor Edith Wagar said the two will leave June 13 to get ready for the competition.
