(NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota Class B Region I Baseball Tournament starts Friday in Casselton and Hunter.
This year, the tournament is double-elimination, and Casselton and Hunter will host day one of the tournament, with the rest of the tournament, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday being played in Enderlin.
On one half of the bracket in Casselton, #4 Enderlin/Maple Valley will face #5 LaMoure-Litchville/Marion at 2 p.m. The winner will play #1 Central Cass 20 minutes after.
At the same time in Hunter #3 Kindred/Richland will face #6 Hankinson-Fairmount, with the winner playing #2 Northern Cass 20 minutes after.
Saturday’s play in Enderlin starts at 1 p.m. with three games, the first two being loser-out affairs, and the third being a semi-final matchup. On Monday, two loser-out games are scheduled starting at 4:30 p.m., and Tuesday is the Championship round with a 4:30 start time. Should another game be needed to decide who represents Region I and moves onto the State Class B Tournament in Mandan, the winner-take-all game would follow the 4:30 game.
