(NewsDakota.com)- The Jamestown baseball team will continue its abbreviated 2013 season tonight as they host the Dickinson Midgets this evening. The Jays currently 6-2 on the season.
Jamestown has swept Bismarck, St. Mary’s and Mandan thus far and dropped a pair of error-filled games to Minot. With the abbreviated season the Jays will play each WDA team in a doubleheader that counts as two conference games, with the exception of BHS who they will play four times with two counter games.
The Midgets come in at 7-7 on the season while holding a 4-2 record in WDA play.
The 2013 WDA Tournament is scheduled for Mandan May 23-25. Jack Brown Stadium in Jamestown will play host to the Class A tournament a week later.
You can catch game one of the doubleheader tonight on 1400 AM/97.1 FM and online at NewsDakota.com. First pitch at 4:30pm.
