CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Jefferson elementary students helped raise more than -thousand dollars for the American Heart Association’s “Hoops For Hearts” campaign.

Event coordinator and Jefferson elementary school gym teacher Brad Sufficool said students raised $10,543 dollars. Sufficool said Jefferson elementary collected more money for this event compared to any other elementary schools across North Dakota. He said last year Jefferson students raised $8,387.
