CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Work on Phase II of the 9th Avenue Northwest reconstruction project is scheduled to begin on Monday. The street will be closed to traffic from 4th Street NW to 12th Street NW.

9th Avenue Northwest traffic will be detoured along Main Street, 5th Avenue NE and 12th Street North. Truck traffic should avoid using 5th Avenue NW and follow the designated detour route.

Weekly planning meetings are being held with the contractor, engineer and the City to provide updates on the progress of the project.
