(NewsDakota.com)- The Jamestown girls tennis team took on the high-powered Saints yesterday. St. Mary’s cruised to an 8-1 win.]

Jamestown hadn’t taken a set from St. Mary’s in the last four years, let alone a match. But freshman Bailee Graves was able to do just that at No. 6 singles where she beat Katheryn Malaktaois. Graves is now 6-1 on the year.

Anna Larson won the first set at No. 5 singles, but couldn’t grab the second or third. Erin Mullowney had chances to win the first set at No. 2 singles where she had a pair of set points that were staved off by Alicia Beck.

The Saints cruised through the doubles play en route the victory. Jamestown will play in their final dual Thursday at home against Williston.
