(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School girls and boys teams finished fifth and sixteenth respectfully at the T-K Invitational in Moorhead Minnesota on Saturday.
The girls finished with a team total of 50 points. Ashley Peterson and Shelby Gelinske finishing second and fourth in the 400 meter dash. Ali Ptacek was first in the discuss with a throw of 98 feet 3.5 inches, and also took third in the shot-put. Nicole Warren was first in the Javelin with a throw of 117 feet 6 inches. The 4×200 and 4×400 meter relay team were first with times of 2.00:52 and 4.22:70.
The boys had a team total of 12 points with Ethan Zetocha finishing fifth in the long jump and Keaton Peterson taking forth in the Javelin. The 4×400 and 4×800 meter relay teams took third in each relay with times of 3:57.80 and 9.38.82.
